Megan Rae Dietrick

Megan is a certified professional coach who helps eXvangelicals find inner peace and belonging as they untie the knots of fear-based religion and re-establisch community. In addition to working with individuals and groups, she also provides coaching to organizations looking to better serve those who have been hurt by toxic religious practices. Megan grew up in both the Pentecostal and Southern Baptist church in the Appalachian Mountains before beginning religious deconstruction over fifteen years ago. She found her own inner peace and belonging at Floris United Methodist Church, where she has been leading as the Modern Worship Director for the past six years. Megan has completed certfications through Wesley Theological Seminary, the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, and the International Coaching Federation. She is passionate about helping others experience a loving, inclusive God and creating spaces in which people can claim their voice and agency. She is a mom to four awesome stepchildren, an eager dog, one opinionated cat, and two incredibly over-sized guinea pigs.
